A large Foxglove plant has suddenly appeared in my garden.
I read they are poisonous... does anybody know how to safely remove them and would I need to wear any special equipment like goggles or a visor when doing so.
Beautiful plant much loved by bees and insects. Count yourself lucky to have it. It will self seed and you will get more in the years to come if you leave it. Enjoy it.
Real cottage garden flower "Digitalis" they make heart pills with them...They are £2-3 each in the garden centres, so hang on to it and transplant the seedlings next year...
