spring bulbs

i planted my spring bulbs 2 weeks ago they have all started to sprout .will they come back again next spring or have i wasted my money?

They should come up again but what you can do is once they have flowered and the leaves died down you can lift them up then store them in in a cool dark dry place til next season then replant them.

I have spring bulbs that come through usually in autumn but then once the cold arrives they seem to stay the same until the Spring when they shoot up and flower. I don't bother pulling up spring bulbs after flowering I just leave them from year to year.

Agree with coccinelle. My bulbs have been poking through for some time. I only lift them if I need to do some replanting in that space. Bulb tips are surprisingly hardy in the winter cold.
