Planting Bulbs
7 Answers
Yes, I know it's the wrong season to plant out spring flowering bulbs, but I have a nice roomy space in our newly refurbished "rockery" and would like to put Snakeshead Fritillary and Lily of the valley in the space, for spring flowering. Best time to plant the bulbs? August? September? So that I can make a note to myself to purchase the bulbs in good time .... cheers, Chox.

Yes, I thought so .... the reason for not planting them now, I understand, is because they should be flowering now (Lily of the Valley in April I believe), so they needed to be planted in November. So will nudge myself in the autumn to plan in Nov. Many thanks folks, much appreciated. Cheers, Chox.
