This is the list of wines I can choose from. I'm a complete novice It's a special occasion & I want to enjoy the right wine. http://www.nicholsonspubs.co.uk/wine/
Salmon is an oily fish so a wine with acidity would be ok, except be careful with the tomato which can also be acidic. A Riesling would complement the acidity on the Salmon and the herb oil. A nice Pinot Gris would be a good alternative
Both of those wines go exceedingly well with Spam.......
I'm no expert either but we always have a Sauvignon Blanc with salmon.
I don't think this is spam Epona, I think Laella is informing us of the choices she has for wine, the food she has picked is on the pubs menu.
