Mystery Plant
6 Answers
Can anyone identify this plant which appeared in a neglected part of my garden.
It is about 3 feet tall. (August) It has never flowered but has a spike of small berries or buds in a cluster which have never opened and are turning brown. The leaves are opposite and the stem is not flecked.
Many thanks for any suggestions

Have found your suggestion on Google. What a lovely plant! Unfortunately, although very similar at first glance, the flower spikes are upright on mine and absolutely no sign of those beautiful flowers. I have a photo that I intended to send but can't work out how to attach it. Is it possible to add a photo?
