Ornamental Cabbage

I have a couple of these in a tub and they have just flowered, are they self seeding or do they just die of after flowering.

Hi Trackrat, I'm not going to pretend that I know anything about ornamental cabbage lol, but I did find an interesting link for you which might help:

Apparently they are biennial, by the time they hit the shops they are already in their second (and final) year so will seed after flowering then die off. Collect the seeds if you want to have a crack at growing your own next year :-)
