Thanks for that. I have some in an heated greenhouse that have so far survived, the appear to have new shoots, is there anything that I can do to preserve them for the summer?

just do whatever you are doing :)
When you have growth of at least two leaves and a bud below, using a very sharp blade slice cleanly through the shoot just above soil level. Dip in root powder and put into cutting compost do not over water. It is a little early though unless you are somewhere warm or have a heated greenhouse. You can also get leaf cuttings by again using a sharp blade, cut the leaf along the centre spine and dip into root powder and plant with the top out of the cutting compound. This is harder to achieve.. Good luck.

I used to take all my cuttings in the spring..They just cant wait to get started
