wonderful to see drifts of them around the garden.
For this native variety which I have, I would think its timing if about right for the start of February for this species.

So delicate yet they still manage to push their way through hard ground, gravel, and snow and ice, if we have any. Mine opened last week and I know they're on time because it was my sister's birthday and would have been my mum's yesterday. Snowdrops (and freesias) were her favourite. They've been doing a lot of head banging today in the wild wind :)
