Is It A Good Idea To Dead-Head Snowdrops?

I always dead-head daffs and tulips but often wonder if I should do the same with all bulbs ie iris, snowdrops, gladioli and, in particular, lily of the valley (my favourite). Anyone know?

I don’t bother with snowdrops or lily of the valley, I do with iris and glads. The seed that the small bulbs make will help to spread them.

We started with a small patch of snowdrops in the corner of a small border but now, many years later, there is a dense swathe of them many times the original size of area plus they have spread elsewhere. We have never dead headed any of them.

I've never bothered deadheading snowdrops either, it just seems like an unnecessary task.
They spread easily by the bulbs dividing if the conditions are favorable.
The seeds are often spread by ants, which take the seeds and bury them elsewhere.

I've never bothered either. They seem to spread whatever.

^^^Lily-of-the-valley became a thug in my garden in France - I was ripping it out!
