I've just planted some of these colourful little F1 cyclamen in my patio containers to brighten up the winter. The plant labels say they are suitable for window boxes, patio tubs and borders but I'm wondering whether the flowers will really survive the frost & cold weather. Has anybody planted them outdoors before and did they survive?

If they are an outdoor species they should be fine. Don't overwater them they come originally from Turkey and middle eastern countries and prefer to be on the dry side so the corm won't rot.
mine are 2 years old now, but they will die if we have sub zero temps and the corms freeze
