I really am just curious here. Not wanting to be a debate or anything.
But how many people here, (professing Christian or atheist...or somewhere in between) have actually read the Bible, in its entirety?
Ive met very few people (Christian or atheist) Who have.
Makes me wonder how people can debate something that they have never read?

Ive read *some* of the Hindu Vedas but would never claim to be an authority of Hinduism based solely on a partial reading of their scriptures.

Just curious. Thanks

We all know that ABs evangelist, Theland, hasnt read the Bible. Im not having a dig at him (b4 someone says that I am).
It never crossed my mind ;-)
You are really though, aren't you?
No.
You gotta be joking!
Yes.
I went to a lot of bible study meeting when I was a lot younger so I guess I have read a fair bit of it. We didn't start with Genesis and end with Revelation though, so maybe I have not read it from cover to cover.

Why as an atheist would I read the entire bible?

Do you only debate on things that you are an expert or fully versed in, nailit?

And there I thought Talbot was an alias for Archbishop Oilwell........

NO, not really Talbot, but perhaps you missed the bit about not wanting a debate about it?
