It is April and the UK has been in "lockdown" since March 23rd, just over one week.

Everybody in the UK has been told to stay at home and in their gardens and only to go out if it is essential.

During this increased time at home and in your gardens, and especially now spring has arrived what kind of things are you getting up to?

We had some lovely weather as we were coming into April, hopefully this continues through the month.

Thanks spare, been sowing, and prepping my balcony, quick growing veg and salads expecting the crisis to go on longer than 12 weeks. Choosing varieties high in antioxidants and other good stuff
Good morning, it hasn't been lovely here, at least not lovely for garden work. Torrential rain has been succeeded by really cold and windy weather so I haven't been able to get out there much. On the upside my bulbs and blossom trees are doing well without me, also the kingcups in the pond are putting on a lovely display.
Can anyone recommend a good site from which to order potting compost?

Not much available around these here parts. :-)
I've given my robot lawnmower the once-over. Its internal clock was one hour slow (no idea how that could have happened), but managed to sort it out. Washed the mower's plastic shelter, and checked the mower's cutters. All set now for a twice-weekly cut of my lawn.
Everything looking good in the garden here.
I lost a few tulips due to frost but thats about it really.
Planning to sow some wild flower seed soon.
Keeping garden pots watered, just waiting for some tomato seed to arrive.
Got some wild flower seed and need to empty hanging baskets and refill with some compost plus build a new window box, old one to replace.
