Orangey Water!!

Last year I bought a large plastic container for runner beans. The soil has over wintered and I've just put fresh soil on top before planting for this year. Making sure the soil is moist I watered it very well, but to my horror the water seeping out from the soil is orangey coloured!!
Is this ok for planting Runner Bean seeds, or has something weird happened? My son suggests it might be Tomorite left in the soil, but only guessing. Any ideas?? Thank you for any help

Has your son been secretly using it as a toilet (or neighbour's cat).

More seriously, planting the same crop 2 years running is not recommended by "experts" owing to plant-specific bugs/fungi etc., persisting in the soil. Having said that, my neighbour has used the same plot for runner beans for 4 or 5 years now quite successfully.

Thanks, Canary42, I've gone ahead and planted the beans, so we'll see what happens. Your first suggestion may be correct, (not my son!), but numerous badgers and foxes visit , so who knows...??

The orange colour may indicate the presence of minerals build up in the soil and is leaching thruogh as you add water.
Posibly iron oxide.
