What is the best, easiest, cheapest way to mend a hairline crack on a plastic water tub?

Duct/duck tape? We fixed a small rigid paddling pool with some and it’s holding.

I have, meanwhile been out and done a duct tape job on it.
I've made a note of your suggestion and will certainly
try it if I'm not happy with the tape.

I've had some slow seepage from mine, and I'm now thinking of replacing it with a new one. I supose its served me well for about a decade.
Maybe use the old one to plat something in ?.
Hopefully I can get a new one for about £25.00.
