morning everyone, how are you all, well i hope. I can't get back to sleep partly because of the humidity, but crashed out last night and slept for a few hours after imbibing a few glasses of vino at my friends place. Do you have any plans for the day..... i have a call coming at 11.30 from a friend and after that no idea, will see what the weather is doing. The forecast seems to be a break with the hot weather..... thunderstorms and rain, i hope it doesn't...
i might go market browsing this morning, depending on what the weather is going to do, i won't go out if its chucking it down. Couple of things i am looking for, bits and bobs for the living room.
i should soon be back to take my friends call at 11.30am she usually phones the mobile so if i am out we can still talk.
Morning Emmie, the whole of the South looks like it's in for a dreadful week end. Lots of rain with thunderstorms especially on the leading edge of the front.
It's cloudy in The Midlands but expected to be brighter later. We may not get any of the really bad weather as it seems to be passing to the East and West of us. I really hope we have a good storm. Went into Birmingham yesterday and the air quality wasn't very good at all. From my balcony I can see a brownish haze over the central area.
Not going out today, just got a dress to finish and some housework that I ignored when it was too hot.
i am having second thoughts about going out, its the same here, though its a grey hue that is pervading the sky. We could do with some clearing of the air, but won't go far if its tips down.
Morning all - didn't hear any storm here though, apparently, it was flashing away out to sea. Okay morning at the moment though the Met says its supposed to be grey and 80% chance of rain and this is the format for the morning, brightening up later. Netweather shows a storm sitting offshore from us at the moment but it seems to be circling around and hardly moving...not sure where it's going!
yes - some 8 or 9 miles from here, Penryn is 2.5 and Falmouth 4 - 6 depending where one needs to be - the centre is quite a ribbon along the shoreline.
i am lucky i have what is known as a Freedom pass and can use it anywhere, not just London, gets me on buses, tube in the capital, and on some services at discounted ticket on trains, very handy
Morning Boaty - just got in before I head off for ablutions and then into the horse and cart up to Trurra....by the way the Wheel has closed down what with this blessed Covid - a great shame.
