Azalea Bush Buds

Hi there,

I have an azalea bush which has started to bud. What should I do with the old brown bud cases, should I remove them ? These old brown cases seem to be old flower stamen. Ta

We don’t with ours, just leave them and they naturally fall off.

Amazing isn't it, my Daphne Odora started budding about 2 weeks ago.

I can't see it, but it sounds like "azalea bud blast" Check it out.

Whether it's bud blast or not, I think you will get more flowers if you pinch out the old ones.
