Pond filters

Help! I wish to purchase a pond pump and filter but know nothing about them as I am a pond novice.

I have been recommended a Fishmate pressurised 10,000 litre (my pond is roughly 8,000 litres) with a UV light, with a pump which handles 3,000 litres. Does anyone have any thoughts on this, or any helpful advice that may point me in the right direction?
