Red hot poker

Hi, my mum keeps going on about how much she likes a garden plant that she has seen called 'red hot poker'. Does anyone know where abouts I can get this plant? ta

Any garden centre.

If you google 'red hot poker' you will be able to buy it online, both as a plant and seeds.

I recommend the garden centre though.

You may find it under the latin name of 'Kniphofia'. It may be found at a garden centre that stock a good selection of perenials Good Luck. T bird+

My red hot pokers, planted 3 years ago, are wonderful this year, even if I say so myself! Seriously, they are good, someone told me it's because they like the dry weather.
Any RHP specialists out there?
