Plant Bird of paradise

I have just bought backa small plant from maderia, a bird of paradise. could anyone tell me how to look after it. many thanks

In the UK they are grown as house and conservatory plants but can be put outside in a sunny position in the summer.

they do like to have the're roots pot-bount to the point of the pot bursting, before potting on.

there will not flower if groning in inadequste light
