growing tomatoes
I have some tomato plants that wre full of growing green tomatoes when they started to go red on the tops the underneath and where they touched branches have gone black. It seemeed to happen after we had all that heavy rain. I have some other tomato plants that are still ok and want to make sure the same does not happen.
Any advice will be great.

Ironically, both dry and wet weather can cause this malady. It's basic cause is a lack of calcium. Here in the U.S., we use a spray on calcium chloride product called Tomato Saver... I'm sure any good gardening supply store will have something similar in the U.K.
