Killing Birch Tree

Could I ask if anyone can tell me the best way to kill Birch Tree as it growing all over my garden. In the spring and autumn all my garden is cover with it's seeds, even they goes in my house.

Why would you want to kill a beautiful tree just because it gives you a bit of extra work, just suck the seed husks up occassionally! Trim the lower branches back to the trunk up to around 2.5mtrs and maybe thin out some of the branches if they need it, but dont butcher the top as so often happens. The Birch is an elegant, native tree which certainly enhances the environment. Long live the Birch!!
