The parts of the decking under the trees have gone green over the winter, is there an easy way to remove this.
I do have a pressure washer but wondered if I should treat it first.
Thanks Rodz

I use a weak solution of Jeyes Fluid works for me. Read instructions on the tin for your requirements.

Normal household bleach would be a cheaper option.

Hi Beechgrove51
This is the option I have just tried after power washing it first, looks OK.
The decking oil is expensive

Be careful when using caustic agents and power washers on decking as they destroy the fibres and cells in the wood that give it it's structure, what you are doing is hastening the deterioration of the decking, better to scrub with the rotary scrubbing attachments that you can get for use with the power washers

Hi Nonomaybe,
Didn`t know that.
I only used a weak solution of thin household bleach and have put two coats of decking oil on.
Thanks for that
