A few people on here were reporting problems with their robinia frisias earlier this year & I wondered how you went on, did they recover? Is it now happening to others too?
I'm absolutely gutted to see my tree has developed some brown spots & curling mainly on it's lower branches & more on the side that gets the east wind. Seems that, according to
this information I've found (in particular see 11th post) it's a problem made caused/worse by this awful weather we've had last yr & this (up to now).

Yes I'm wondering too Shaney how you found the original. A year or so ago "Vinegar Joe" (ha ha ha!) posted a piccy of "himself" "at his present age" and when you right-clicked on it you could still read the name of the site from where he had hot-linked...! ...but that wasn't the case this time around. It does look like the same man whom he has posted once before, a picture of "me and E. as a young couple". Perhaps this man really is a relative of "Joe's".

Robi you bought the white tulips.

it was easy Kit...remember old man smiling? same method...

re my pic test: Nope you're all WRONG...I'm not so predictable after all, haha, the flowers sure fooled you all..
It was Brooklyn Bridge! I love it. I have said in the past I have a thing about bridges.
Oh right it does say Alec 1939 when you right-click and when you image google that phrase, this is the first photo that comes up!!!
Question Author
oh sorry not quite the same method...look at the title on his image shack link
Question Author

ok I confess my sister bought me 2 more pics for my boudoir...and they were sepia type photos of a tulip & a chrysanthemum (not on that site)...haha, I do like the flowers as well!
But why would he pretend to be him ? He "found " the picture in his attic .
Sorry but he must think we came up the Thames in a bucket :)
It also links to an item in the Daily Telegraph published in 1990 where this soldiers story is published .That's twenty years ago and the chap was 70 then at the time of publication and has since passed away .He was a twenty year old when he was a POW.
This would make Mr V 90 ! But of course he's not dead :)

It's a load of bullsh!t.

Jude I liked the magnolia too. I think you and I have the same tastes in a lot of things - I loved your old white-ish kitchen wallpaper with the squares, and I like Calvin Klein Obsession too.
Don't tell Neti about the Obsession I think she doesn't like it lol

Off to look around CB for the pickled onion or whatever !!

haha, no Kit, I remembered finding it a while after 'old-man-smiling-gate' & now this new profiling business makes it easier to look for things to refresh ones failing memory :o) Yes, I wondered about the illness.
