Bamboo help

My Bamboo are all turning brown and starting to die, how do I get them to come back to life? They are all in water with rocks on the bottom

Over watering? Pour the excess water out. Leave the plant to become semi dry, then only water lightly. As long as the soil feels moist, then that's ideal xxx

how long have you add them and why are they in water? bamboos like moist soil but they are not a pond or a bog garden plant.
