Bamboo Help!

Hi!
I was just wondering if any of you clever people might know the answer to this. I have a Bamboo plant that i got from Ikea several years ago and its been fine and happy in its vase but for some strange reason it has turned yellow last week? It appears to be alive but is now not green? Have i done something to it?

it could be too much flouride in the water, you could try using distilled water.
If you google "bamboo turning yellow", other people have had the same problem,
and there are quite a few answers there for you to look at. Good luck, I hope it recovers.

Thanks for answering and i will check Google out. It cant be the water as its only just done this in the last week and its been fine for the last few years.
