Hi, hope you can help! My little ones sun-flower we were growing has some how had the head chopped off. It wasnt flowering yet, but it been chopped just below all the leaves at the top.

Will it carry on growing or die? any ideas?

That's a shame Lorzy, it's always a good idea to plant more than one if there's room...anyway, too late for that this year but depending on which variety it is tyour plant will hopefully sprout side shoots & produce some more flowers. Might be a good idea to stake it in case we have any high winds...it always seems to happen just when the flowers are at their best!

The sunflower my grand-daughter was growing snapped off at the top, we just left it and it grew and divided into 2 stems and now each has a flower almost open, so fingers crossed!
