pesticides on cabbages

i have planted some cabbage tundra a couple of weeks ago , tried to combat pests which are having a feast with garlic barrier but no joy.
could someone please suggest a suitable safe and effective remedy/ pesticide.

My organic cabbage pest control of choice here in the U.S. is called Eco-Smart... works great on any cabbage worm infestation and is fairly inexpensive. In the event it's not available by brand name in the U.K., look for any product with Bt as the primary ingredient. It's a bacterium that's also death on worms... Best of luck!
