Selective weed killer
This is a question from my son-in-law who grows a lot of berries
At present there are a lot of grass-type weeds between the strawberry and raspberry plants and we would like to know whether there is a weekiller he can use on the grass, without harming the berry plants.
Thank you for any advice you can give me.

The best thing to do now that growth is dying back is wait for a dry day and if the weeds can't be pulled out by hand, dig everything out, a section at a time, hand weed the area and then replant. If the grass is couch grass (that long thin grass with the intrusive roots) this is by far the best way of dealing with it Once the area is thoroughly cleared the best thing to do is to keep on top of the weeding or perhaps cover the soil where possible with some permeable black fabric though which the rain can penetrate if regular weeding isn't possible.
