Roundup weedkiller
We have an extensive vegetable plot and large garden mainly reclaimed from a field. We had a friend who was registered to use a farming strength form of Roundup weedkiller, unfortunately he has fell out with my husband and no longer treats our weeds. My husband would like to register himself to use this stuff and train to use it, as we understand he has to do this, but we don't know how to go about this. Can anyone point us in the right direction please? Is there a website or and address for futher info. Thanks in advance.

you may also want to look here http://www.pesticides...approvals.asp?id=811. You may find you have to be in the business to register to use pesticides.
but as others have said, just use a shop bought concentrate, it will work ok for domestic use.

You don't have to "register" at all. IF you were a contractor applying this on someone elses land, you would need to be certificated for a PA1 (foundation module) and a PA6a (hand held applicators module). However, as you're using this on your own land, you are ok.
As far as i'm aware, there's no such thing as "farmers strength" roundup (although i stand to be corrected) and the farmers strength is dependant on dilution rates....roundup can be used virtually neat for stump killing.
I have both the above certificates as well as PA2a (tractor mounted sprayer)
