Whilst walking on holiday in Spain I came across this plant (didnt have a camera at time).it had single elongated bell shaped white flowers and had produced seed pods which were apple green some quite large, one I picked and it contained unripened seeds in a central pod with what may eventually be parachute type down as in a dandelion.
It wasnt Jasmin I know what that looks like.

I know the one you mean, it was in a hedgerow in Tenerife, sort of pod seeds become big seeds with parachutes. It's not Datura.

No it wasnt Datura Prudie I know what that looks like. Should have added in my description it was rambling over the top of a wall like Jasmin.
unlikely but could be a stephanotis
Good job it wasn't Daturu ("thorn apple") - that's deadly poisonous if I remember rightly.
..Datura even
Trachelospermum....been trying to think of the name since I saw this post..
Trachelospermum Jasminoides? ... Cape Jasmine?
I thought from original post was really large flower .. which is why I thought Prudie was correct.
I don't think datura would be any worse than growing Labernum TBH.
Accepting datura is wrong I've never heard of that, googling images doesn't show any flowers looking trumpet like though, more like large stars.
I wonder if it could be cobea scandens alba...not common but it would fit for fruit size
That's correct. I have a couple.
Now I see the question again : /

Stephanotis would be more like it .. but not for the seed pods I think!
I think we are screwed without more info.
Large trumpets - could it be glennmillerspermum?
Stephanotis from memory, has very hard oval leaves and the flowers have a fantastic scent.
