I left a large box of Growmore in the shed thinking it would be kept dry over the winter months, but when I opened the cupboard, found water had been dripping on the cardboard box in which it was bought, and now is dripping wet. Should I put it in the normal council rubbish, or is it still useable or has it lost it`s use?

Use it : )
Use it. Rest the bag in a seed tray and put it in a warm airing cupboard, beside a warm radiator or on a hot water bottle until it has dried out. You may then have to break up the solid mass with a small hammer or put it in a food processor to break it down but it should still be usable, Be sure to wash the food processor out thoroughly afterwards !
Bin there, done the same. I used it wet and it seemed ok.
