I have just had some vinyl flooring laid in my kitchen. It's ok but they sealed around the edges with clear silicone and it spoils the effect. Any gaps can still be seen ( because it is clear silicone ) and i would like to fill the gaps with a different type of sealer. Problem is I have to remove the silicone first because nothing will adhere to it and it is very difficult and time consuming and proving very hard to remove. Is there a product out there that can be applied to the silicone to make it easier to remove?
