Evian ure mug must have been disgusting lol
It is a bit tbh. I use it Several times a day and only wash it at home time :/
A mild abrasive - table salt or sodium bicarbonate- is a much better and safer option. The stain is a deposit that needs removing - chlorine bleach simply removes the colour from it.
And why do some mugs stain and others don't.
China seems to absorb more that the other ceramics
Soak your mugs/cups and tea pots in a sink of hot water and add a good squeeze of bleach...leave about five mins then rinse...good as new
Stuff called Bar Keepers Friend, about £2.50, its great. Just a little powder in the mug, a damp cloth and it comes off a doddle.
I use diluted bleach followed by a hot wash and rinse.
If you don't want to use bleach, a white vinegar solution ( or toothpaste!) on a cloth or sponge as an alternative will do the trick
