My friend has just told me she poured bleach in her bath to clean it and it has stained it a horrible yellow and she paniking now as her landlord is coming to visit today, she only moved in yesterday. I said he should have made sure it was cleaned before she moved in, but that not the point really. Any ideas if and how she can get it white again?

sounds like the surface was already damaged ... jif cream and elbow grease should do it or borax powdwer and a damp cloth...
*Why * do people always think chlorine bleach is the thing to use? It invariably states it should not be used on enamelled surfaces, assuming it is that. The strongly alkaline solution has probably damaged the surface.
