Painting

[Connemmara]

I have a lovely beautiful dresser and of course it matches this old kitchen. Now that I hope to revamp the kitchen to white and silver. Can't afford to get rid of dresser but am getting professional painters.

Can this be done - dresser is you know that tongue and groove - - surely no matter what colour (methinks grey or white) you will see the "tongue and groove" - any other ideas as it is a lovely dresser

but the 'tongue and groove' is part of the character of the piece so I would paint it and allow it to come through
