Freezers

How efficient are frost-free freezers at evaporating the water that drains to the chamber at the back of the freezer?

My Hoover upright defrost freezer is 10+y. Its never needed new parts and just hums along giving no trouble or needing attention, so long as:

a. Electric keeps going
b. Door is closed correctly

The evaporation efficiency (rate) will depend on the air temperature and humidity of where the freezer is situated. It will be quicker in a warm kitchen than in an outside garage, obviously.
