Net Curtains Gone Grey In Parts

I have floor to ceiling net curtains and the middle has gone grey and dingy, I assume caused by sunlight.
I have tried washing them and soaking with net whiteners but the results are poor.
Is there a type of net curtain that will not be affected by sunlight?

Never known that. Wasn't building dust in your area at some time was there ?
Can only advise replacement and fingers crossed it doesn't happen again.

They are huge so will be a bit costly to replace but hopefully the next pair will last a bit longer

Soak in cold blue washing powder 24h & drip dry indoors, ie over bath.

Nets are not too expensive are they, HC? Not like lined, weighted curtains.

Not too expensive, these cost me around £80. I suppose if I work it out on a daily basis they're dirt cheap :D

Have you tried Reckett's Blue Bag, Hc.....we used those for nappies.....or black blinds instead......;-)

Ace do a bleach for whites which I use on my curtains. Costing only £1 from the pound shops. This is in a white bottle and not the one containing blue liquid.

Oy hc did they get marked up where you have been peeping through them? Wash your hands first in future (^_*)

denture tablets help to keep net curtains white. An old tip from yonks ago but it works. You will need quite a few in a big bowl of hot water
