I'm looking for a simple pair of ready made curtains for a small window. The ones I see online look so elaborate. The ones I have at the moment are on a thin metal track and are held up with Rufflette tape and hooks. And I'm looking for something similar.
Any suggestions please? Thank you.

Obviously I don’t know where you live, but most moderate sized towns have at least one curtain shop, and often have sales. You’ll get much closer to what you actually want if you can see and feel the material.
Check them out on Google?

Thanks Jenny - good idea.
argos do some nice curtains , and the range x
I usually go to Dunelm Mills, don't know if you have one of their shops in your area. They have a large selection of curtains, all colours and patterns.
Are you handy with a sewing machine? Friend makes all her own curtains and duvet covers. Beyond my skill set alas.
I agree with sadielady, Dunelm Mill very good for ready made curtains. Lots of choice and good price range.
dunelm do a good range...any John Lewis Dept store... even cut price stores such as poundstretchers and Home Bargains..also The Range
Rosie, the reason the curtains online in pictures look so elaborate is the way they dress them, hung on the lowest row of the tape with extra width to allow for lots of perfect pencil pleats.

They really are mostly just ordinary curtains.
Dunelm, no question. Look at the eyelet ones, they’re so easy to put up and do away completely with hooks and gathering.
