HI there, I have a new baby at home and for the first time in 7 months felt the need to turn on the gas heating - except it didnt work!. Its a Maxol microturbo402 boiler, (which I have been unable to find anywhere in the net). The odd thing is that we have plenty of piping hot water through the taps and shower, yet nothing happens when the heating is selected. Its a new system, (Only 14 months old), and I have even tried bleeding the radiators to see if there was an air lock, but all was ok. I did notice that none of the lights are on on the boiler itself (in the kitchen), but dont see a fuse having been tripped or anything. The tanks in the cupboard are warm and all light up, so am at a loss as to what to do. I'm sure it must be something simple, can anyone help

I dont know, as it is a sealed unit. I presumed that it was because we have hot water...??
i had a few problems like this,i work on a building site so i allways go ask the plumbers.once my light went out and heating didnt work and that was a fuse.my fuse is like a small glass tube with a wire running down it,check to see if that has a gap in it or lucks burnt.another time my heating didnt work was due to bleeding a radiator and it messed all the pressure up,so check the pressure if you can it should be between the 0 and the 1.if not then you need to pull on a leaver to let the pressure out.another time somthing had blown and had to be replaced but i cant remmember the name!! sorry if this is not much help but i dont know too much about plumbing myself and i could have a differnt boiler system to you but thought id give it a shot just in case.
