smelly carpet shampooer

I have a bissell carpet shampooer which is absolutely the bees knees. It is easy to use and really gets my filthy dog-defiled carpets clean again. The only trouble is that while I do clean it after use and let it dry in the air before putting it away, it is beginning to smell, I guess because some dirty water is always left inside it somewhere. has anyone else had this problem and found a solution to it please?
TIA

<sits bolt upright holding ears> oh it's you Neti....just you wait......
I don't know what's the matter with me. I hardly slept last night and since I've got up I've not stopped cleaning. Haven't 'bottomed' my bedroom if you get me, worked my way downstairs including bathroom.Done my kitchen including moving the fridge and freezers out trom under the worktop. You should have seen the muck I was ashamed!! All I have now is the lounge and the kitchen floor. I think I shall sleep tonight don't you!!
HOPE i DIDN'T WAKE YOU WOOFY oooops didn't mean to shout!
I'll probably doze later on as well.

I've been having the sneezes in the last few days too. I always seems to get them when I've cut my grass...which needs doing again. Shall I shan't I? I might as well while the moods on me.

Enjoy the day Everybiddy. Laters 'gaters.
Neti when I write a message on AB the Submit panel doesn't have the word submit in it and I can't send it. Have you got a clue for me please.
shrieking with laughter at 'Woofy' thread in news, haha

MORNING!...oops, so sorry woofy, I'm a bit hyper, I went for my (fasting) blood test and I've been glugging very sweet tea for the past 30 mins. My legs and hips are screaming but I'd psyched myself up to get it done, so I did. I get a taxi there and back anyway, it's a bit too far to walk...unless you're Jude, it's a hop skip and a jump to her :o)

Glorious here again...

Right neti, where's this bloke with a million under his pillow?
oh, and there she is, the human dynamo , hi Jude :o)
I just got up and have done nothing. The opposite end of the scale to our Jude!!
well we do need a balance in here Lottie :o)

Morning again, good job I didn't go back to bed as my car scratch man turned up this morning instead of lunchtime. Car was a right tip as I had intended to hoover it out this morning, anyway i quickly threw out the junk and he has taken it. First delivery (plants) has arrived, then i have bulk mojito mix, wellie boots, a push lawnmower and more groceries yet to come. I don't want to leave rab for too long at the mo as his scabs are starting to itch him and it would be too bad if he wrecked his healing at this late stage, also i am a lazy person.
I found a place online where the mojito mix is half the price of the supermarket and so decided to treat myself to a load. its lovely and refreshing over ice and without booze but maybe I will add a little pick me up sometimes......
...and no yelling...I have all the doors and windows open and the neighbours will complain!!

Have just read back. Sorry to hear about the feet, Lottie, hopefully it is the stuff working still. I am having a bit of a house sort today, it must be the weather. I have also been doing some more garden planning, hence the plants and the lawnmower.
PS I would be complimentary about Neti being brave at the dentist but she woke me up.
A push lawnmower woofy?! I'm having palpatations just thinking about it.
I've got one of these

(I'd love the dog!)

I've had injections mentioned for elbows and my wonky hips Lottie but I'd be so scared things would be worse. Sorry it's taking a log time for you to feel better.
*log time...haha, it's my sinuses ya know :o)

I have a part of the garden fenced off for the tortoise. I just added some other fencing so that the dogs can come with me when i go and work in the potting shed but now my big mower wont fit into the tortoise bit. I had been just strimming it but its getting to look quite tidy and decorative in there so i decided I would like to keep the grass tidy, also the tortoise will be able to see where she is going hence the push mower which is a tiddly narrow thing the fenced off bit is about 16 ft sq so even I should be able to push mow that.

Ps Rab isn't used to sun, he is sitting out in the garden bird watching then coming back in all hot and puzzled. Shughy thinks he is an idiot.
Thanks Robi. Today I woke up with dreadful cramp in my left ankle. I would have steared clear of the injections if I had known they might make things worse. I was told they might not work, that's all. I have so much pain in my toes now where there wasn't much before and the lumps on my arches have got bigger. I am seriously worried about my holiday and it is making me depressed. There is so much to do in the garden and the garden is a real stress reliever for me, grrrrr. But it's a lovely day and there are people worse off.

(My back and hips are also much worse, I presume because of the way I am walking. I never want to see a doctor or a hospital again, but I have an appointment in Rheumatology after my holiday. I think I might just burst into tears when I get there.)
I just love Rab Woofie. He sounds just like a dog we used to have called Roy, absolutely adorable but not the sharpest tool in the box!!!
Robi, I took your advice elsewhere on the site and have now got one of them there lead crystal nail files off Ebay!! I daren't tell Mr LL how much I paid though!!

He is a sweetie Lottie...not thick exactly, more geeky. When he is focussed on something he just ignores everything else. I am not sure what would have happened if he had been separated from his brother as he does most of his learning by watching Shughy.
Charlie did most of his learning by watching the inside of his eyelids :o)

still not bought a file Lottie. I'll get one with my points next time I go to a big Boots store.

Had to come in for a snack, my routine's all out today and I went a bit shaky...and my wrist's starting to swell and I've only swept the outhouse & lav, tut. I left the spiders in there, I like to think of myself as queen of the jungle but with perks, ie oven chips and an indoor bed :o)

lol Robi, DH and I used to camp in the back garden, It was lovely...big airbed, champagne ad lib with a picnic and then we used to lie and listen to the frogs..and the loo only a step away.
New mower is fun. it has made short work of the tortoise garden and was quite nostalgic. I am not sure that the nostalgia would survive beyond the 10 minutes it took me to mow that bit though....
