I got the smaller rollerball one, I'm not that impressed, I've had mine nearly 8 months and the engineer came to put a new motor in it a couple of weeks ago. It has a dual floor brush, but mine got stuck on the wood floor so the brush wouldn't go round and pick up bits from the carpet. It has a good suction, but the hose is shorter the flex is shorter and the dust container is smaller so you have to empty it more often and you have to wash the filters every month, but It isn't as heavy as the usual Dysons and not that noisy, OK for a small flat.
I threw my dyson onto a skip - could not believe the lack of power. However bought Bex Bissell vacuum cleaner - absolutely fantastic. I have a dog and it not only picks up the dog's hair but very fine dust that must be in my carpet. I actually bought another one and have it in case the first one packs up. Stay away from the dyson.
