After 19 months of being told that our house is to be knocked down (highways England compulsory purchase order)today finally we exchanged contracts and are at last moving next Thursday.. if I never have to speak to a solicitor again ( ours useless from start to finish) it will be forever!

No pixie a new road is being put in because of heavy traffic around bluewater had to go straight through our 11 cottages no other option ..didn't like it to start with but now we have a beautiful new house to move into and no traffic any where nr us so we are very happy x

Indeed you did captain I actually wrote it down ..when settled in we will visit the area
VOLTY....know what you mean and hope you have secured somewhere now after the shock and upheaval of it all. I know where it is... I am not that far from there and all the hassle that goes with it. Hope you will be happy in your new home...just wish I was lol. This part of the country is dire and sinking under the strain! Gawd 'elp us all.. I trust you will far enough away not to have to worry as much. Best wishes.

Hi dunnitall Only moving 200 miles away up in North Lincolnshire. .to be honest had a gut full living here with traffic noise and especially the dust around here we won't miss it one bit!
