How would you split rent in a blended family? Person a and person B share a bedroom person a has two children each of whom have their own bedrooms person b has a kid who has a room which is in the laundry room it has no closet or windows and has the washer and dryer in room with him and is only there half the month.

per room with person b's kid counting as half a room (3.5 shares) so if the rent is £700 - divide by 3.5 ( £200 per room ) B pays half one share for their own room and half for the child which is 200 and A who is occupying the major part of the house, £500

Rent divided by four and a half
If a and b are in a relationship and trying to make a a family group then probably 50-50 but taking their wage differences, if they have any, into account. More importantly try to improve things for the poor kid sent to the laundry room.
Obviously the one in the laundry room should only be paying washers.
