plans and regs

hi,
I am trying to buy a set of floor plans and blueprint with all measurements and building regs on, perhaps someone has done a selfbuild and has the plans still, as I wish to draw my own but need an example to work from. I have tried e-bay, but all useless. or does anyone know of an online architect that will do the biz by post?
(want to build smallish 4 bed detatched in garden, but any up to date plans will do)
