How can I find out the details of Landlords?
I live in a block of six flats. A few weeks ago the roof was found to be leaking - alas I am in the flat that it leaked into. I managed to get a roofer out and have had the work done and it has been paid for by me.
The hard bit is getting the money off the others. I put a letter with a copy of the bill through each door. There are two rented flats where the landlords are responsible for their share of the cost - £88 each. The other three flats are rented but they are used as business premises and the tenants are responsible for the debt.
I have had contacts from all but the properties owned by landlords and want to get in touch with them again. I have asked both tenants for contact details for their landlords but they only have phone numbers etc etc
Is there any way that I can find out the name and address of the landlords from any website - my mind has drawn a blank but I am sure that when we still had paper registers this sort of information was freely available. I live in Scotland.
Thanks for any help that you can give me - it would be nice to get my money back so that I can squander it in the sales in January.
