cant get door open

We have a 2003 cmax 2.0 diesel
Last week one of the rear doors wasnt always locking but with a few wiggles of the lock i got it to work fine.

But now the front passenger side door central locking has jamed in the lock postion

We cant open the door from either the outside or the inside , the remote locks and unlocks all the other doors

Ford have told us we have to cut the inside door skin off before we can do anything !

Please tell me this is not the case and there is an easy and, more importantly, cheap way to fix this !

Hi, I just typed in c max central locking problems, and there's loads of information out there, I think this was the top link. Good luck, I hope you fix it.
