Leaf scorch

I planted a Prunus Serrula Tibeticus tree in March 2011
the leaves appear to have leaf scorch.
Anyone any idea how to rectify this problem. Appreciate any advice
Thanks

can't do anything about the leaves that are alresady damaged apart from tremoving the worst affected ones... might be related to uneven water supply as it is fairly newly planted see what it does next year
Im with Rowan on this. I think, make sure it is getting plenty of water until well established. remember a bit of rain is going to do very little in respect of enough water for a newly planted tree.

Next year you will see a different tree.

Thanks rowanwich and ratter 15 will water the Tibeticus again this evening and maintain a prudent watering programme thereafter. Hopefully that will prove to be the remedy. Appreciate your advice thanks a lot.
Sorry to intrude Duntocher - but are you from Duntocher? (I've asked this before, but you missed it and I got a lot of smart replies about where everyone was from ;) )

To Karenmac 60 No I am not from Duntocher, passed through on a trip to Loch Lomond Beautiful scenery.
Ah, it made me wonder - it's not the most famous or glamorous place in the world, and not very big either. :)
Question Author
Inclined to agree karenmac60 just thought the name rather unusual.
Surmising you are from the aforemantioned
Not Duntocher, but not far away from it - beside Loch Lomond. The only things I know Duntocher has are a library, a fire station, and loads of kennels (don't know why, but there are loads of boarding kennels all on one road) :)
