Roses

OK here goes I have some roses that I would like to move not prune or anything else just move to a new location in the back garden when is the best time of year to do this and what other advice would you give so that the outcome is successful? Thank you in anticipation

November. But you must take immense care not to damage any of the roots, even the tiny ones. And when you put a plant into its new hole it must have all its roots spread out as widely as they were in the old place. Fill in to exactly the same soil-level as before, and firm it up carefully.
You might like to take a few cuttings at the same time - about half of them will take if you are lucky, thus providing replacements if the plant you move does not survive.
