"I am the mime. I will be ever moving, ever changing, ever marking, ever effacing - like the truth - ever illusive, seeking to unfold, to manifest, to unveil the lived life of those persons who do not occupy the positions of power or priviledge nor have such as their allies in the struggle to become. The page upon which I write is clear and unwritten. Even as I write, as I mark, such marks will need erasing, as all other marks on all the other pages which have been written about such humans. Again and again we must write, again and again we must erase, lest we arrive at the point where we rest in some seat of assurance that we know these persons and their world. Perhaps humans never feel more violated than by words which have claimed to know them. Such knowledge seems to escape me, and I believe everyone."
