lol and it's safe to do so at the mo:) xxxx
You need to be doing your pelvic floors....
Unfortunately, bladder weakness comes with age (not old age, just late 40s, early 50s) I`m in my mid 40s and I sneezed a few weeks ago and I had "leakage". Such is life.
When you go to the loo practice stop peeing mid-flow several times a day.
This may help you tighten the muscles.
My mother had an op, paying privately, in her 70's to sort this out.

It was totally successful. Money well spent.
I am very lucky then!.......am 61 and no problems at all for me!.......

lol umm I've been doing pelvics for about 18 years and also do 'em when I'm here

Thanks for the age thingy J3, you can go off folk y'know:)
I hope that you take this in the humour spirit in which it is meant, alba....

From the Diagnostics of Beer Drinking - Problem Resolution Pages:

SYMPTOM: Feet warm and wet.
FAULT: Improper bladder control.
ACTION: Stand next to nearest dog, complain about house training.

"practice stop peeing mid flow". Christ it's hard enough making it there in the first place!
I had this problem in my early 40's and went for physio.................had no problems since.

I could never do a mid flow even when I was in my early 20's. They are sadists.
What's a little poetic licence between friends?

alba - when I go to Big Sis for the weekend (no intentional pun there) she is amazed at the rate at which her loo rolls disappear. What does she expect with my health issues? I am in and out of the bathroom like a fiddler's elbow :(
That's not counting the times I get up in the night.

This afternoon at work a colleague kept asking me if I wanted a coffee. In the end I had to push past her to go to the ladies - even talking about it gives me the urge these days ........brb........
